Plugin "LH Force Lowercase URLs" that can redirect from uppercase URL to lowercase URL [WordPress]

. This is Harururu from the PIPELINE WEB production team.
One of the projects I recently created was to move from an e-commerce site to WordPress.
But from the beginning, I hit a wall.
Before moving, the e-commerce site used uppercase letters in the URL of the product page.
However, in the environment of a production project, if you access the same string with capital letters, it will be Page Not Found.
Wow, seriously.
When I moved my website, I wasin trouble because I couldn't realize the iron rule of "making it the same URL", but I found a good plugin.
LH Force Lowercase URLs
LH Force Lowercase URLs instantly and automatically redirect you to lowercase URLs, even if you access them with uppercase URLs.
Additionally, for 301 redirects, it takes over the SEO rating of the original uppercase URL page.
(When I found this, I was so happy that I took a small leap in my heart.)
How it works
simply download it from the plugin page or install and activate it from the WordPress admin.
(When I found out about this, I was so happy that I jumped softly in my heart.)
There is nothing else to set up. Just by activating it, it redirected me to a lowercase URL even if it was uppercase or lowercase.
Conclusion
It may be a rare situation, but I was really in trouble because there was little information, and in my case, I happened to find this plugin.
Ihope this article will be useful to someone somewhere.
(When that happens, I am so happy that I take a small leap in my heart.)
